Let’s Meet on the Edge was a place-led installation that reimagined wayfinding as urban storytelling. Commissioned by the London Festival of Architecture, the project aimed to reconnect Edgware town centre with its surrounding green spaces through playful graphic interventions. Fuente was brought in to refine the visual identity and ensure cohesive application across all design elements.

Designed and developed with Edgy Collective, the installation encouraged residents to explore overlooked public spaces by embedding narrative prompts, colour-coded routes and signage into the streetscape. The aim was to use graphic design to foster curiosity, connection and discovery.

Strategy
We helped define the project’s visual language, focusing on emotional clarity and accessibility. Through intuitive typography, vibrant colour systems and contextual storytelling, we shaped a visual identity that invited engagement while reflecting the spirit of Edgware.

Solution
We produced all graphic assets, including a bespoke map and site-specific prompts. Each element worked together to guide people through Edgware in new ways, transforming everyday routes into experiences of surprise and reconnection.

Success
The installation ran throughout June 2023 and attracted hundreds of visitors. It received the Community Prize at the New London Awards 2024 for its inclusive approach to public space and imaginative use of design as a tool for urban regeneration.
